what is champoy??
champoy  is made from the Myrica rubra fruit called yangmei or Chinese Bayberry or Chinese Strawberry. As it ripes, the fruit sports a bright red color. However, the preserved fruit sold as a sweet is dark brown to black in color. Additionally, each fruit contains a single seed in the center.
